Why did you decide to make a change?
2nd floor space is 1st floor in bridal, loved the curb appeal of window. Location perfectly demonstrates our superior luxury bridal lines.

What is your target market for the store?
The bride who wants/demands/appreciates a true luxury gown for her 1 big day (not just pseudo couture item made in china)

What will you offer that will set you apart from other bridal boutiques?
Where do I begin here?!?!

Well, let’s start w/ designers, they are true couture and leading luxury brands in the world. To start w Valentino, Lanvin & vivienne westwood are exclusive pieces, not available for re-order, so that means there may only be 5 pieces in the world of the design she likes and only 1 in her size. Makes brides very happy to know they are guaranteed to be unique! As for my other designers (JMendel, elizabeth fillmore, romona keveza, amsale, christos…) They all stay true to their vision, making their designs more special than others who just knock off best sellers! And did I mention FURS!!!!! We carry J.Mendel bridal furs! And we can’t keep them ‘on the shelf’!

Then there’s the experience:
– we showcase all of our gowns on the floor, so you never wonder what u might be missing
– we allow brides to stay as long as they need to ‘get to know their gown’, rather than asking them to leave after 60 min
– we offer ‘show-off’ appts after they order, so show their gown too relatives and close friends after they order
– we have private suites and individual ‘showcase rooms’ to keep the experience private for each group
– we have a VIP suite too!

What specific services do you provide?
We are nationally know to having the best ‘stylists’ in the country. Their goal is to find the perfect gown to pull out your ‘best figure’ and to represent all facets of your personality and who you are. And of course, creating that total look you will wear down the aisle (from veil to shoe), so that your look stays consistent to the vision of you in your gown. And of course, alterations.

Any fun anecdotes about the new store opening/design/party etc…
Our clients are raving about our luxury european ambiance, that is true to ‘perfect bridal experience’. They feel like they are on an ‘ivory cloud’ floating past beautifully sunlit windows and floor to ceiling mirrors, in their flowing silk gowns!

My favorite tip for this fall 2012 collection is to try the one shoulder! You will be pleasantly surprised at the height it gives you. Contrary to what one might think, that it’s a trend, its actually not! It has been around almost 100 years, and has just made itself back into haute couture with a modern flair! It’s a timeless look to have on your mantle for the next 60 years….
